Biography

Amy Leigh has been involved in theatre production since the 90s. She’s worked for Hollywood, Broadway, Phoenix, Denver, the Las Vegas Strip, and the International Thespian Society. She’s also been involved in costumes and make-up, sound design, and technical direction. She’s served as an original works adjudicator globally, seeing rough scripts through to final product on stage.

Amy has also taught in 5 school districts, including 4 Las Vegas high schools, along with serving as Educational Director for many civic theaters. Her main passion is new works, and oversees playwriting classes, competitions, script editing, and festival entries across the globe. Her goal is to bring theatre to more places – literally – delighting in spaces with technical limitations that promote innovative staging and direction.
