About Course

Do you have a significant amount of experience in screen acting? Then we have the perfect class for you. In this class, you will be taught by an incredibly successful TV actor on the nuances of what casting directors look for in your auditions, how to develop characters when you are cast, and how to perform on set to keep your job and get bumped up to better roles.

Michael Patrick McGill is a blue-collar character actor who hails from Appleton, Wisconsin. He has been fortunate (and stubbornly persistent) enough to work in the entertainment industry for the past 25 years. Mike's credits include recurring roles in the TV series Shameless, The Office, Bosch and The Fosters. Other TV credits include The Rookie, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS, The Big Bang Theory, New Girl and Mad Men. Mike has had supporting roles in the films Annabelle Comes Home, Jersey Boys and Bad Words. He has appeared in commercials for Geico, Lowe's, Motel 6 and K-Mart, and lent his voice to the animated series X-Men '97, What If...?, and Beware The Batman. Mike is a former member of the Open Fist and Knightsbridge Theatre Companies, and studied under Jack Stehlin and Alfred Molina of Circus Theatricals. Mike also learned improv and sketch comedy at The Groundlings Theatre in Los Angeles.

Mike has recently relocated to Las Vegas from L.A. in order to be closer to family. He looks forward to working with you to help achieve your goals and advance your career!
